Former IRS hedge fund enforcement executive, Shea Davis, joins Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office

New appointment strengthens hedge fund practice

Dallas, 10 June 2010 – Shea Davis will join Ernst & Young LLP’s Asset Management practice as a Senior Manager on June 16th. She will be based in the Dallas office. Davis, a tax professional with a unique blend of skills, has over 13 years of experience. 

Prior to joining Ernst & Young LLP, Davis was responsible for hedge fund enforcement strategy at the IRS. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration of Accounting from Texas A&M University, where she graduated cum laude. Davis also received her Master of Science in Accounting, Taxation from Texas A&M University.

In her new role, Davis will bring a unique perspective to our hedge funds clients, given her background and experience in tax controversy.
